Pricing and Venues

Our private and online events are so bespoke it is difficult to give an indication of pricing – it depends on the number of wines, the number of participants and the location(s), but we always work hard to come up with an event that people will enjoy at an affordable budget.

Our prices for corporate events start at £550+VAT for an event for 15 people in central London.

This includes seven wines (one for the introduction to tasting technique, the other six for the actual tasting), with an average price of £25/bottle (retail price) – allowing a range of styles and price points to be included. At least one of the wines would retail for more than £50/bottle.

Also included are the Taste of the Grape host fee, transport to and parking in central London, and all event equipment, including professional tasting glasses and spittoons, and any quiz items such as multiple choice answer sheets, pens, aroma challenge kits and prizes.

Including a cheese tasting element will add around £75+VAT for three cheeses for 15 people.

For group sizes above 15 the key driver of costs are how many bottles of each of the wines will be required, and the average price of the wines, and the need for any staff. We work on 15 servings per bottle. If we are tasting more than seven wines we may serve slightly smaller portions, but this does depend on the nature of the event.

A typical event in central London for 40 people tasting seven wines with three cheeses costs around £1,000+VAT.

Please note the above prices do not include venues. While we can assist with advice on venues for an event, particularly in central London, the choice of a venue clearly depends on a client’s preferences and objectives. We love running events in clients’ offices because it helps ensure a good level of attendance, it makes life easy for attendees – and of course it saves the client money! But not every company has a meeting room or space of suitable size, and a good offsite venue can add to an overall experience.  Please don’t hesitate to contact us for advice on venues.
